EMMA Shop online loyal customer register.

 

1.3. Purpose of use of data in the register

The register is used for maintaining customer relationships and for customer service. Within the limits and obligations set out in the Personal Data Act, the personal data are processed for the purpose of managing, maintaining, controlling and developing customer relationships and service.

1.4. Data contained in the register

The register contains the following information on the data subjects:
- name
- address
- telephone number
- email address
- purchase and payment transactions
- billing address

 

1.5. Source of information:

The information in the register is gathered when customers disclose, register and update their own details.

1.6. Protection of the register and disclosures of data

The EMMA Shop online loyal customer register is kept confidential. EMMA Shop does not disclose data from the customer register to external third parties. Data may be disclosed to established and relevant contractual partners in order to maintain customer relationships and produce services.

An external service provider is responsible for the register’s technical protection. No hard copies of the register are kept. Only authorised persons have access to the register. The users are obliged to maintain professional secrecy.

1.7. Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA

Data is not transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

1.8. Right of inspection and exercise of the right of inspection

Everyone has the right to inspect their personal data and to request the rectification of erroneous data in the register. In addition, the data subject has the right to request that their personal data be erased (right to be forgotten). Requests for inspection and rectification of errors should be directed to the controller.

The data controller shall, at the request of the data subject or at its own initiative, rectify, erase or supplement the personal data contained in its register that are erroneous, unnecessary, incomplete or obsolete as regards the purpose of the processing.

1.9 Right to appeal

The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they consider that the processing of personal data infringes the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
