Elli Hukka - Pastelli Pendant, blue-green

Elli Hukka (b. 1982) is a Helsinki-based jewellery artist with deep roots in the forests and lakes of Eastern Finland. She has a background in jewellery design, which she studied at the Lahti Institute of Design and Aalto University. Elli runs her own business in Helsinki, and for over a decade she has worked both as a goldsmith and in contemporary jewellery. Her work ranges from silver and gold jewellery to more recent textile pieces, wearable objects, and installations.

Pastelli Jewellery Collection – A 20th Anniversary Collaboration with EMMA
The Pastelli jewellery collection, designed for EMMA, is part of the museum’s 20th anniversary artist collaboration. The collection draws its inspiration from the distinctive architectural language of EMMA.

Hukka describes the Pastelli collection as follows:
At EMMA, what fascinates me is how art in all its forms reflects the rawness of the space. Colours and clean shapes stand out against the concrete background, creating a playful atmosphere. The Pastelli jewellery collection designed for EMMA indulges in colour, with flowing forms that playfully promise that EMMA’s lively and joyful spirit continues beyond the museum in the form of jewellery.

Earrings and a pendant are available in two colour combinations: pink–yellow and blue–green.

The jewellery is handcrafted in a small artisan workshop and boutique in Kamppi, Helsinki.

- Earrings: brass, findings in 925 sterling silver
- Pendant: brass, chain in gold-plated stainless steel
- The coloured elements are finished with paint suitable for metal
- Nickel-free
