Elli Hukka - Ring

Elli Hukka (b. 1982) is a Helsinki-based jewellery artist with deep roots in the forests and lakes of Eastern Finland. She has a background in jewellery design, which she studied at the Lahti Institute of Design and Aalto University. Elli runs her own business in Helsinki, and for over a decade she has worked both as a goldsmith and in contemporary jewellery. Her work ranges from silver and gold jewellery to more recent textile pieces, wearable objects, and installations.

The Bubbles Jewellery Series includes earrings in various sizes, a ring, and a pendant. The pieces are made of silver (925) or yellow-toned brass.

A round or slightly oval ring sits atop the band of the ring. The surface of the rings is hammered to create a lively, textured appearance. The rings are shaped without using a ruler, so the stated size may vary slightly.

The jewellery is handcrafted in a small artisan workshop and boutique in Kamppi, Helsinki.
