Lasitaivas is a glass studio located in Nuutajärvi, where all products are designed and created by glassblower Marika Kinnunen. Kinnunen produces small series and unique studio glass pieces using traditional glassblowing techniques.

Marika Kinnunen has worked with hot glass for 25 years, currently as an entrepreneur and teacher. “Glassblowing requires complete concentration, and the molten glass sets the rhythm for the work. As a glassblower, I guide the hot glass in the direction I want. My personal touch is meant to be visible in the pieces I create.” - Marika Kinnunen
