Tero Kuitunen – Star Wall Sculpture, pink

Ceramic artist and designer Tero Kuitunen, born in 1986, draws inspiration from the intersection of design and art, as well as from a fearless approach to combining different elements. In his work, he explores the significance of humor and touch as starting points for both design and art. Through his creations, Tero aims to discover something that moves and touches people. Materials and colors are often his greatest sources of inspiration at the beginning of a new project.

Kuitunen has designed a limited edition of 20 ceramic Star Wall Sculptures for EMMA Shop in celebration of EMMA’s 20th anniversary. The Star Wall Sculpture connects to an adventure story created by children’s and young adult author Siri Kolu and theatre director Marko Koko for the Collection Kakkonen exhibition. Kuitunen’s yellow ceramic stars guide visitors forward through the exhibition space, acting as clues along a narrative route.

The Star Wall Sculptures are available in yellow, pink, and light blue. Each star has a unique expression and character. These stars make a distinctive design gift for a young person—or a perfect choice for a christening gift.
