Tero Kuitunen - Wall Sausage

Ceramic artist and designer Tero Kuitunen, born in 1986, draws inspiration from the intersection of design and art, as well as from a fearless approach to combining different elements. In his work, he explores the significance of humor and touch as starting points for both design and art. Through his creations, Tero aims to discover something that moves and touches people. Materials and colors are often his greatest sources of inspiration at the beginning of a new project.

The Wall Sausage series started in 2021 from my Ceramic Deli exhibition. People was naming my pink vases as nakkivaasi (wiener vase) and I got inspired from this and decided to go all the way with the sausage theme. The Wall sausage was born. I really like that I can modify this very universal form in many different ways -it can be sausage with mustard, a pickle or even an yellow one with a smiley face.

There is two holes behind the object so you can easily hung the sculpture on the wall with a screw. Either horizontal or vertical. Hand wash with soap.
